The bottom line! wow! I didn't think anyone achieved that, well done! That's wonderful.
Me too Paul, for one eye, the board is a light in the distance..I believe some of my stiches remain buried [after 14 years]. Some of mine became loose with the 2nd graft and had to be replaced.

Unusual in a way I guess you didn't want to be Rosemary! Sorry you've had several Hydrops, I did think one in each eye was typically the maximum. Have the further episodes affected your vision? [hope not] Yes I guess as Hydrops is part of Keratoconus, then grafted KC free corneas should not develop ...

Hi Nessa, I'm really sorry Andy has had such a gruelling time with his eyes and psoriasis. 4 grafts, that's heavy, sincerely hope the 5th works out. Tell Andy to feel free to have moan here when he's having a bad day, that's what we are here for. It does help to talk about our fears and know we are ...

Thanks J, I count myself lucky then that I just had one in each eye before grafts. The scarring I knew about cos when I had the big one my vision was worse afterwards.

Thanks Rosemary, that's exactly what I needed to hear. I needed to know there are grafts much older than mine, and yes that will be useful ammunition in relation to my voices, thanks a lot. Yep, the mental health system is not in a good way and the draft Bill could matters much worse, gives activist...

Hey Rosemary thanks for explaining the problem with judging distances, makes sense. I didn't realise a Hydrops could happen more than once, would I be correct in thinking that it doesn't occur in grafted corneas? I wouldn't feel safe to drive either, but you can see the advantage of a tank, just dri...

These are the surgically implanted lenses Anne? This seems to be done more elsewhere then here. Those stats are not as good as I would have hoped for. I wonder whether they can be rejected.
