I had my lens today.
Is it normal for teh eye to be red will it become used to the lens.
Really worried cus its my last hope.

i have my scheral lens in left eye. Well sight isnt wonderful but its there.
As i am expecting a baby i cant have the cornea graft in right eye now.
Only hope is to go to brum and have a mould done of the eye so a special scheral can be made. see if that works.
How do they do a mould?

can you have the graft done if your pregnant?????.

ooo glad you managed to sort it.
i put shaving foam instead of hairspray.

I was told it is to do with fluid in the eye during pregancy as we accumulate more.
Mine were better during pregnancy and worse when not

Anne how long were you on the waiting list?

Also anyone any ideas on what i can buy to help me visually whilst i only have my c**p left eye working.
I enjoy reading and the puter and stuff.
And of course where to buy stuff from.

it nice that things are going forward but what about those like myself, that are intolerant to solutions.
I can only use oxysept 1+2 and lc65.
Oxysept i did manage to get from postoptics thank heavens.
With my new lens i have to use total care so hoping i can use it.
