Hi all Yesterday something seems to have changed with my left eye and I can now no longer wear my piggy back lenses. It felt like I had scratched the cornea as it was sore but it's not sore today. Hi all There's an open air car park on Oxford road where the old BBC building used to be (around a 5 min walk from the venue). thanks for all of your input I am still no nearer making a decision tho'. I was thinking of putting together a 'pros and cons' list of having the surgery or not. I would be interested to hear your 'Pros and cons' of either going ahead with the transplant or continuing as I am with contact lenses. BT...

Hi Wendy I had a hydrop last November and had exactly the same pain you described. The doctor said it was caused by tiny blisters caused by the pressure of the hydrop and some of the blisters had burst separating the layers of the cornea.
