Vita-pos is what I used to overcome a real acute bout of blepharitis.
I might try the Thealoz Duo instead of Hyabak next time. Thea make all 3 of these I believe.

Re: overnight intolerance to scleral lens
I have developed an intolerance to my scleral but I never had symptoms like you are describing.

Re: Can you help RNIB make a film about keratoconus?
I'd have tentatively put my name forward for this had it been requested a few years ago.
I'm not sure how 'successfully' I can wear my lens now as tolerance levels have reduced significantly in recent years. I'm not sure how positive and enthusiastic I would come across given my current scenario.

Re: Long term scleral use
I had the exact same feelings when I started to wear my sclerals +10 years ago. I was bitterly disappointed with them over the initial weeks/months as I adjusted to life with sclerals. After a while I managed to get 16 hours days, 7 days a week wear which was as much as I could ask for. Putting them...

Re: Scleral lens solution
So similar to a mini-scleral just smaller as it sits on the iris as opposed to the sclera?

Re: Scleral lens solution
I've always used amidose. Have been using it for the last ~12 years. Only in rare special circumstances would I use a standard off the shelf saline solution.

Re: Centre for Sight, London
I was there a year ago or so. I'd very interested to hear what you have to say after the assessment.
I was basically advised to get a graft done on one of my eyes but I've yet to go ahead with it. I had my own reservations. I must go back again at some stage though.

Re: corneas getting thinner what next
What measurement is best used for determining corneal thickness?
It's something I never paid much attention to over the years but I've recently been told that both corneas are extremely thin and to consider a graft.
