After reading Djs post on here , i am concerned as im going to Moorfields tomorrow for a pre- assessment appt , with a view of having a full thickness graft in Sept in my right eye i am concerned ......................

Thank you , both Anne and Ian , very much appreciated your stories and experiences , makes me feel better knowing you both came through the process with positive outcomes , i hope you both have a long and healthy future concerning your eyes .

Hello to everybody, i havnt been on this site for a long time , i hope everybody is well , Ive just put this thread on here as i have advanced Keratoconus in both eyes , ive had hydrops in both eyes previous , the left eye tolerates an rgp lens , but the right eye has a split in Descemets membrane ....

No problem Lynn , i wish more people were like you out there , people with this problem dont want sympathy they want understanding in my view . im sick to death of people asking me why i wear sunglasses all the time , and i cant be bothered to tell them what the problem is , people think your normal...

Hi Ali . thanks for your nice words and no there is no link between bowel disease and KC as far as im aware ... mine was due to fistula , bowel /bladder... it made KC feel like a sneeze , 2 very different diseases , life is a test ! Hi Ali , you are totally correct on everything you say , tried large sklres no good . pain and poor cloudy vision , tried nearly all lenses , the only ones that give good vision for me are the small rosek lenses and the problem is they pop out not stable , yes i was told grafting was an option but i...
