Re: Complex Lens Voucher & Free Eye Tests
Thank you for the link.
I read it as my sight test should be free.
I think I will have to print the info offor and take into the opticians.

Complex Lens Voucher & Free Eye Tests
Hi all, I posted a similar post a couple of weeks ago so I apologise. I had an eye test recently and was told it was free under the complex lens scheme. The opticians then rang me to say they had made a mistake and it wasn't free. It was free last year and my KC has progressed and my vision has wors...

At my last appointment she did a very quick sight test and informed me that she wouldn't need to see me for another 18 month...

Re: Soft contact lenses in KC
Thank you all very much for your replies, you've been a great help. I will have a word with the hospital when I see them and will ask them about the various lenses that they offer. I would like to try the new Kerasoft lenses but like you say it depends whats available and what suits me. Thanks again...

Soft contact lenses in KC
I have been told I have mild KC in both eyes, my right eye is slightly worse. I am using glasses to correct my vision but I am getting a bit fed up with them. Please can you tell me if soft contact lenses are suitable in people with mild KC. How uncomforable are hard contact lenses? I am seeing my h...
