Re: London clinic advise and question on CXL
Astigmatism at 24? Diagnosed KC at 31? Isn't that just slow progression/missed diagnosis?

Re: Post C3R affects
I was certainly blurry after one month. Just had my 6 month check up at Moorfields (the evening surgery as it happens, some new initiative?) and they spoke again aboout how fluctuations will still continue up to 1 year as James has said. I had both eyes done within a week of eachother, epi off. Ouch.

Great information on those new tests James, like it.
Puns seem to crop up all the time when talking about KC. I've often finished explaning the whole thing to the uninitiated with a "there's alot worse in the world, you've got to keep a perspective on it - no pun intended"

Re: Advice for first contact lenses after glasses?(And post
Cripps - Precisely my concern! They seemed surprised I was concerned about a double CXL treatment like that. Both eyes at once, they were saying, is becoming the standard treatment going forward.

Re: Advice for first contact lenses after glasses?(And post
Cripps - Thanks for the info. Yeah, similar to me, they monitored for ages then finally said I was going to be having crosslinking. Seems as though it should have happened a few years back. Yeah, all the patients in my group at Moorfields were treated both eyes at once, I asked them about this befor...

Re: Advice for first contact lenses after glasses?(And post
Thanks Cripps. Interestingly, we're the same age. Did you have crosslinking this year as well? I will look at that NHS option, far beats the private! Especially considering they'll be the first contacts I've had. Yeah my eyes arent so advanced but on the edge of needing rigid contacts I think. Well,...

Advice for first contact lenses after glasses?(And post CXL)
Hi, looks pretty quiet on here so not sure I'll get a reply in time! I had Crosslinking in both eyes a few months ago at Moorfields. All went fine although now regularly wake to uncomfortable dry eyes. Any of you out there who have had the procedure, is it normal to get dry eyes like this? Still tak...
