I haven't been travelling since the new restrictions on hand luggage and have to admit that I don't know what they are at the moment. From your discussions above I can conclude that I can only take solutions under 100ml in my hand luggage. Can I therefore take as much as i want in my main luggage? D...

Thanks
Thanks for your messages guys. Sweet, I'm always nice to nurses, I find they can make your life easy or very difficult and are lots more laid back than other doctors. They also always tend to have biscuits or chocolate stashed somewhere on the ward. I'll be working at Hereford Hospital, and Occupati...

Now a Dr with KC
Got my final exam results yesterday and passed them all. I'm extra happy because I managed it without lenses in both eyes, even though I sat in the wrong seat at my first paper (A good friend saved my butt that time). I also had to examine someones ears and give a diagnosis which I was able to make ...

Interesting study, but as far as I know I don't have any psych problems, but would I know if i did?? Are they sure that the KC patients just couldn't read their questionnaire and just ticked any box. I also think using 100 cases and 100 controls in San Diego isn't much of a sample to base all KC pat...

Hey Houghy, Don't know much about the solutions and just getting used to lenses too so not an expert on that either. As for steroid use, Prednisolone like any other drug has side effects and most with steroids depend how much you use and how long for. The main relevant side effect I can think in you...

Thanks Guys, My personal tutor and school office are aware of the problem but its still a pain in the neck and I really want to do as much as I can. I just don't want to feel like I got an easy ride through my exams, silly I know but just want to prove I can actually do it even without being able to...

Hydrops
After waiting a while and trying various lenses I finally had lenses in both eyes that worked, but unfortunately suffered from an episode of hydrops in my left eye, the worse one. Totally put me off the idea of lenses all together so stopped wearing one in my right eye also for a few months while wa...
