Thanks for the input, I doubt NHS will pay for my intacs as I had to pay for my contact lenses at moorfields, albeit at a lower cost then I would at an opticians. I'm not concerned about the cost because you can't put a price on this issue but £2400 seemed pretty high for each eye as I read on here...

I understand the cost at Centre for Sight is £2400, how much would it be at Moorfields? I do work full time, so i do have to bare some cost. I am living in London and did not know that Moorfields now do intacs. Would the consultation be free with moorfields and would it be a 6 week waiting list of ...

Thanks for the reply, they are brand new RGB's from Moorfields from Thursday and the reason for posting here is because I have mild Keratoconus. Pehaps I put too much solution while applying. I put them in fine, after the usual tears and runny nose. I was hoping things would focussed up but they didnt. If I covered one eye it would be blurry but then I could focus, then I covered that eye and then that eye was blurry but focussed. However both eyes together, one eye remains blurry. Is th...
