A year on after my graft and i will be starting to use the gym again this week

any advice apart from take is easy etc and can i use the sauna?

anyone done this?

I am 10 months post graft and feel really weak in my body as i have not done aerobic or weights type exercise as the surgeon said not for a while.


when can i start back and whats other peoples advice from their post op care and doctors consulations?

hi dipesh are you wearing glasses in the grafted eye and has it helped

im due for my 6 month post graft refraction for glasses next month so just wondering what happened with you?

Hiya Val/others appreciate ur replies urrrrm im coping reasonable well i guess when i can tolerate my RGP lens in my ungrafted eye that day is pretty good as I can use the PC etc etc other days just cope as best I can. Did your eye pressure vary Val like mine and what meds are u on now?

Asif are you using glasses and an RGP lens and when did u get refracted for taht as I cant drive yet until I can and teh consultant said maybe at the 4-5 month post graft stage?

Yes Asif I do have day to day vision variations so that is reassauring and others comments like Vic and Andrew

AM 2 months post graft in my left eye and went for my check up yesterday. Was told all is well BUT my eye pressure is at 25 which is too high as it should be 21 and was 18 2 weeks post graft. What does this eye pressure do/affect? Had my eye drops changed from Deximasolose to Predissolone. Anyone be...

its the ungrafted one i will be depending on at the moment but obviously want to use the grafted on eideally with glasses later on which i guess is the 6 month post graft stage?

How soon were people driving again after their grafts? i use an RGP lens in my ungrafted eye and had my graft in about 5 weeks ago and havent driven since as my RGP lens in the other eye when i put it in causes both eyes to become swollen etc. someone here said thats tired eyes and goes away in time...
