I've just completed the self-certification online, will post if there are any updates. Any update about this? I received a letter from the DVLA saying tha...

Re: Has anyone had keratoconus progress in one eye after the age of 30?
Wasn't diagnosed with KC until 31ish. Has changed somewhat in the 20 years since then, luckily been able to cope with lenses throughout and not had any surgical interventions.

Re: Dealing with anxiety and depression from KC
Hi Mal, Obviously I can only speak from personal experience however I find that contacts make a significant different to my vision. Without - can't read the top row on the Snellen chart, With - 6/9 or even 6/6 on a good day. I can understand the anger and depression, I was in the same place after I ...

With subsequent prescription changes I've just kept the previous ones as spares. I must admit I don't think to clean the spares, ...

Re: Is it this expensive for everyone?
Hi Gary, I was first diagnosed at a similar age to you. My optician referred me to the local hospital and the most I've paid the NHS is £114 for a pair of lenses. My hospital also only charge this a maximum of once per year - this was helpful in the early days when my prescription was changing quite...
