I too read that study so I don't think you are crazy! Further study said they had not found any evidence of KC shortening your life span. A bigger question would be...how do older folks get their lenses in to function?

Have you looked into scleral lenses at the Boston Foundation for Sight. I see you are in Boston. I wrote to Dr. Rosenthal just the other day and he responded the same day. It may help you avoid a transplant for now.
