I have had INTACS in my right eye since 2005. Lately this seems to move and get stuck so my eye is out of focus, this is mainly when gentley washing my face i have to move the INTAC back into place very carefully before i am able to see out of my eye again. Does anyone else ever have problems with falling over, missing steps and misjudging paths?

I managed to fall at the weekend this time i hurt my cheek as well as my poor knees :oops: Am kind of hoping it's not just me this happends to!

I was the first paitent for the centre for sight on the NHS Mr Daya said he was going to be doing NHS INTACS once a month, it may be worth ringing them and seeing if they still take on NHS.

I had my intacs done at the centre for sight 18 months ago and i had everything done on the NHS, i did not pay for the consultation or the procedure. My eye doc here in Bristol referred me to the centre for sight when i told him i wanted to have the intacs put in.

I had Intacs in my Right eye November 2005, Initially i was signed off for a week but then an additional two weeks, some people i have spoke with have had longer than that and then some have had just one week so it just depends on the person :? . Thanks for all the comments i feel slightly more at easy now. I shall post back and let you all know how i got on after my assesment.

Occupational Health

Has anyone had any dealings with being referred to occupational health by their employer? i am a little worried about getting referred and don't know enough about it, is it possible i could loose my job?

The assesments i have had there have been fine and yes tiring its not a block 3 hours it in one room then the next so you get time in between each assesment so lots of hanging around! Mr Daya fitted my Intac last November and i found him to be excellent, very informative and egar to progress with any traetment he can get funding for.

I had my intacs done at the centre for sight queen victoria hospital in East Grinstead. The intacts were done on the NHS the consultant has one appointment a month for NHS patients.
