Re: week 10
Glad to hear things are going ok, I was at LRI too this week, I hope it wasn't you that caused the huge appointment delays this week! I had a lens fitted for my transplant eye (5 months post-op) they had to go for one that fits under the eyelids to avoid the stitches. The vision is surprising good, ...

Re: Update
Woke up today with a sore transplant eye and less vision, so was glad I had an appointment this morning to get it checked. The optom could see some areas that were staining at the top of the graft so sent me to eye casualty to get that looked at. The dr there couldnt see a problem except for a loose...

Yes go get it checked as soon as you can. Every bit of sight is still valuable, hopefully it can be reversed.
Best wishes

Re: All On track @ day 9
Glad to hear your eye is doing well, its like a mirror image of my graft experience (guess thats not surprising as we have the same surgeon!) I'm coming up to 3 months post-op now and having my 1st refraction next week

Re: Contact Lens Problems
I dont feel ready to give up on my vision :( My son is sick and if I could drive and be independent it would make a huge difference to the family. I need to see sooner than 1-2 yrs that my right eye will take to recover. I had an assessment by social services who offered home help which i dont want ...
