Re: New here, introduction and question
Thanks Andrew and Chris, for the encouraging words. Chris, I hope all goes well for you, let us know how you get on. Do you mind if I ask where you had the graft done, was it NHS or private? I am having it done at Moorfields on the NHS so cannot pick the surgeon - does this matter? Any thoughts welc...

Re: New here, introduction and question
Hi Saffron, Just looked into the forum after a couple of years away and saw your post. I would be very much interested in your experience since the graft 18 months ago as I am due to have one in October at Moorfields Eye Hospital. I am 26 years old and have KC in right eye for 10 years. Tried all th...

Re: C3R - Corneal Collagen Crosslinking!
Hi,
I have one eye with advanced KC and the other has mild KC. If I wanted to pay for a second opinion as to whether C3R would be suitable for the mild KC, where would be the best place to go in the UK?
I have seen the London Vision Clinic mentioned here.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Eye Treatment Centres
Thanks you all for your advice. I will ask about CXL, if only for the "good eye". Is CXL available on the NHS ? Good point about the lenses, It has been 6 or 7 years since I tried the hard contact lenses. I think my problem will be the thinning of the cornea. I got on alright with just one...

Eye Treatment Centres
Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. I learned I had KC eight years ago when I was 16. I Have KC in the right eye and my left eye is OK with glasses. We tried all the lenses at the Birmingham Eye Hospital and I finally decided I could live with just my one eye. They had offered a corneal tran...
