Re: Problems with Kerasoft lenses - affecting wear time
Hi guys, are you on Kerasoft 2 or Kerasoft 3 lenses?
I found the Kerasoft 3 significantly better.
BTW - My old GP was also running some field trials in a form of acupuncture (using a stud in the foot) that he said he was getting some good results from in terms of tolerating wear time.

Re: Hard vs Soft contact lenses
The update is that since 2015 - I am now on hard lenses, ones that I have to fill up with saline prior to putting in my eye. It is more of a pain in the a**e to do, it took me ages to master ( in fact I still mess it up and get bubbles in there) but my vision is greatly improved. Point being I start...

Re: Hard vs Soft contact lenses

I wanted to take the time to write to y...

Re: Confused about sun exposure
I really don't know either - I had cross linking in both eyes last year. But I do love the sun. The reason I am asking is that I lived in Perth Australia from 2003-2008 and this is when my KC really progressed. It is also when i was in my early 30's, so I am not sure if the sun had anything to do wi...

Re: Hayfever/Allergies and Keratconus (2016)
Ok I am your man for hay fever - I used to be in pieces. At the moment I use Opticrom Allergy eyedrops. I use them immediately after waking (you then have to wait 10 mins to put your lenses in and blink a lot) and then immediately after taking my lenses out. I obviously also take a regular Boots Hay...

Re: Confused about sun exposure
Hi all - just for info, I only wear polarised sunglasses as it helps reduce glare and protects me from the sun. I have some very expensive sunglasses, but also use some from Halfords that cost £30 and are just as good as the big expensive brands - probably better as I don't care as much when I inevi...

KC advice in London
Hi guys, I have had KC for 6-8 years, but it isn't too bad. I have recently been forced by friends and family to agree to see a specialist, but i'm not sure who to turn to. I did see Roger Buckley 6 years ago but he has now retired and there is a dentist in his old suite. Can anyone recommend someon...
