Re: PK Graft Next Week, Few Questions Please...
Hi Red One thing I asked my consultant is how many grafts he did a year and how long he had been performing OP etc. I had my PK two weks ago and all is good so far. Like you, I have had no sight in left eye for many years due to scarring and advanced KC. KC has got worse in right eye so decided to g...

Re: Ocular Pessure test advice please
As luck will have it I work for the University of Kent and just down the corridor from my office there is lab full of doctors that do R&D for ophthalogic equipment specialising in retinas that can pick up on the first stages of any damage so they have said they will scan me anyway. My GP also ho...

Re: Mask to sleep in
Hi Johnny
I am still wearing eye shield at night as I lie on my left side. I am not that bothered by micropore and am quite used to wearing it now so you may find that as your eye becomes less uncomfortable the shield will become easier.
Hope all is going well and your eye is getting better

Re: Blog updated
Hi Andrew yep I wear it for sleep. I have too because I have a BAD habit of rubbing my eyes and I sleep on left hand side. I poked and rubbed my eye watching telly on the sofa and I think for those moments I forgot I had lots of stitches and a new cornea! It does smart though and I will be trying no...
