Hi
I have a booking form for this and just dug it out to fill in, which reminded me why I didnt earlier - is there any other option than cheque to pay? I'm pretty sure I don't have a cheque book around!
Thanks, kerrie

Re: Lens options and costs
Hi Thank you for the replies and info. I knew if there were changes to scripts or fit, there was no further charge within the year, but that there was a charge when one of my lenses went down the sink (guess who had a plug for Xmas!), but having had rgps I haven't faced the question of lenses that i...

Lens options and costs
Hi, sorry if this is a question I should have been able to find the answer to, but I haven't! But i thought if i ask, plus share a bit of my story too, there might be other helpful things that some of you could share? Last week I had my appointment at the lens clinic that I've been attending for thr...

consultant appointments
Hi all I have a quick query about regular type appointments / check ups. In various posts, kcers on here have referred to having regular appts, even if this is just an annual check up, and this has been the case where there is fairly un-progressed KC. I just wondered if people are talking about annu...

Same here, my eyes itch _SOOO_ much straight after taking lenses out and much as I try I can't resist rubbing. I don't think I've ever managed to remove lenses without a rub session after. I think I really must rub hard cos I lose all coordination and it affects my speech - makes it really slurred a...

Hi I've got one on each eye, too! Hospital has diagnosed them as ulcers, but the lens fitter thinks they are lens related abrasions (as they are very big, lens shaped and the same place on each eye!). It's good (in some ways) to hear that this is a regular part of KC - at least it's normal (tho of c...

London related advice sought
Hi Some of this may be a bit off topic but I hope it’s ok in this forum….basically I’m looking for any advice and info that people have to share on London. We are due to move from Bournemouth at the end of this month, I have found myself a new job which doesn’t involve any driving :D , and h...

something good from my KC!!!
Just wanted to share a recent event that came about pretty much due to my KC. I went to the All Tomorrows Partys music festival at glamorous Butlins last weekend, which was headlined by Nick Cave, who I have worshipped for many many years (hope someone has heard of him because no one I know has!!). ...

corneal ulcers / keratisis
Hi all I was wondering if anyone had advice or information they could offer me about corneal ulcers? I currently have ulcers or keratisis (?) (are they different things?) on both eyes, so I'm stuck with no lenses again (I have the softperm type). I've been prescribed Predsol eyedrops, and from scout...

Hi Thank you for the warm welcomes. I do have KC, I use soft perm type lenses with lots of difficulty and pain at best, and just have to give up on them at worst! I seem to have lots of sensitivities to go with the allergies so it's not easy to get on with lenses. I'm now having a new thing of repea...
