KC Genetics

Hi all, I was just wondering if any one knows what the chances are of passing KC on to your kids, and whether they would be likely to have progressive/non-progressive KC depending on whether or not you do? I was never really concerned about this before (I'm still only 26 and don't plan on having chi...

Re: Subjects needed for new lens training workshops!

I would be happy to come to Stevenage if you still need someone? I currently wear Scleral lenses, though am recovering from a hydrops in my right eye (I think it ...

They gave me some antibiotic drops to try to avoid an infection as well but nothing else. They said that pa...

Re: Any suggestions for coping with hydrops?

Thanks for the quick replies. Moorfields eye hospital gave me the lens to wear - it's not my usual one and they've checked it to make sure it's clear of the cornea so shouldn't be causing any additional problems. They reckon the pain will go in a week or so, so I guess I just have to wait it out. It...

Any suggestions for coping with hydrops?

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum. I’ve read some of the posts in the past but had my first hydrops on Tuesday and was hoping to get some advice so have decided to become a more active member! Woke up on Tuesday in a lot of pain and without vision in my right eye. Went to Moorfields hospital who ...
