Rosemary, I'm not sure where I heard this but apparently if you cough too much you can loose potassium, but please check this out as I'm not 100% sure where in fact I remember this from. All publications are respected by certain people - even Beano - there is a difference between a peer reviewed journal of the medical type and one that is not though.

If you look through some of these patent sites there are so many inventions - but they never see the light of day, may be because they was found to have problems with them one way or another after they where filed as a "theory" to solve a problem. Lets hope in practice this is not the case...

My personal view is that in the UK it is very balanced or as balanced as it can be for the most part. If we go east - say to China health care is more state run, if you go west from here to to say the states the health care is more privately run, here in the UK I think you have the best of both worl...

cclman, did you ask what was in the drops ? i know tha was asked about in posts before and did your Dr say about the time it wil take for the recovery to finish - its about six months from what I read and was told when I asked my ophthalmologist

My consultant told me that in the majority of cases vision improves after CXL, so KC is not only stopped but reversed, it has to be done early enough for this to happen and that the treatment is not as invasive as compared to even wearing RGPs and we are not even talking about other corneal surgery ...

cclman, any word on the eye drops they sent you ? in what it was ? and did your Dr say anything about haze ?
