Lutein

scleral and make up

I wear sclerals and make up. The only problem would be if I had to to take the lens out and re-insert it as it would really disturb the make up. So far this has never happened!

Iritis

Dear Sweet I feel so sorry for you. I had iritis excactly this time last year. What a terrible time it was. Moorfields wouldn't allow me to wear a lens in the affected eye and what's more I had to use the dilating drops which sooo blurred the little unaided vision I have. It had to be my 'good' eye ...

Conference

Thank you to all who organised and all who came. It was a great day. I fully agree with Sue's comments particularly about the tea/coffee breaks. Lynn - to report back. I have now been using Systane for a week and it has been absolutely fantastic. I am putting one or two drops in 15 mins prior to inserting the lenses as you suggested and and - wow - what a difference. I can almost feel the 'film' over the cornea and hence the lens sits comfor...

I have today ordered some Systane. I went to a local chemist with the name and who makes it - Alcon. He said he hadn't heard of it but looked it up in his special book and hopes to have it in on Wednesday. It sounds an amazing product and I can't wait to give it a try. Lynn- you sound fantastic and ...

Daily Mail 1st March

I thought the article was most interesting. Have any of you had this 'ring treatment' and what do the others think. Any specialists out there please? This could be the way forward for some of us.....

Hello Helen I too have a pair of scleral lenses. I also have rgps so I can use either depending on my KC state! The fitting process was not a problem at all. The secret is to ensure that the person who fits them is EXPERIENCED in fitting sclerals. Before I found someone who was I was not so impresse...
