Re: Help!!!! Kerasoft Lenses

Kerasfot lenses saved me from a graft! (but then as we all know, all cases are different). Andrew, you say that soft lenses don;t work for you, but can I ask if you have tried any in the last year or so? If not, can I ask if you would consider this a good idea or are you simply very happy with your ...

Re: the wind causing problems

Ditto here for both wind and photophobia! My wife "nicked" my car a week or so ago which has my sunglasses in it and I haven't bothered to fish them out on an evening! This would have been unheard of with RGP's to the point where I would ask her to come home in her lunch break to bring the...

Re: Soft Lenses / Keratoconus

I was told, nearly 2 years ago now, by an NHS Consultant, that my vision could not be corrected with CL's (of any variety though at that time was wearing RGP's and only ever worn RGP's) to a level to be able to drive; a graft was the only solution which would take the best park of 5 years to do both...

Re: Opticians in Huddersfield area

Hi there. I'm in Outlane so not too far away. Think you might struggle with this. There is a guy in Holmfirth who seems to be well thought of (on the list elsewhere on this site), failing that you may need to consider Leeds or Bradford. I know I shouldn't say this (!) but if you do go to Leeds then ...

Re: Are new soft contact lenses for keratoconus? Why no Kerasoft

Before moving to kerasoft IC lenses just over a year ago I had worn RGP lenses pretty much every day for 20 years! I am today wearing the kerasoft lenses I was fitted with originally ( due to damaging a newer one) and still getting excellent vision!

Re: Kerasoft 3 Lenses & NHS

My wife works in the NHS (not eyes) and their system is to put a staple in the corner of the treatment card of "difficult" patients!!

Re: Anyone know anything about this lens solution?

Yes, it's a true all-in-one.

I rub my lenses with it after taking them out and then store them in it overnight, I then use it as a wetting solution before insertion.
