Re: kerasoft - soft lenses for kerataconus

I use and have been using Kerasoft lenses since November last year. And while it's right to say that they won't work for everyone, for me they have been an absolute revelation! I love them; easy to wear and care for. I can't begin to tell you how comfortable they are, sometimes i forget that I have ...

Re: Kerasoft 3 lenses

KC paiients need to wear their contacts for super long times and can't switch to glasses like a "normal" soft contact lens wearer. No one is forcing us to wear lenses for super long times. Most people I know that wear soft lenses for vanity wear lenses for 16 hours, more than I could ever...

Re: Kerasoft 3 lenses

Pepe, The K3 lenses are three monthly disposable lenses. It's £150 inclusive of VAT, though I'm hoping witht he reduction of VAT recently by HMG they will come in a little cheaper when I pick up my next lens in Feb I can't make any comment on other lenses, simply because apart from trying RGP lenses...

Re: Kerasoft 3 lenses

Didn't realise that I had started a thread which had brought such differing opinons about the use of Kerasfot3 lenses over RGP lenses. I've had my lesnes for about 3 weeks now, so felt it was time to give a more rounded update on how they are working for me. Well, I work in front of a PC screen all ...

Re: Still can't get my lenses in.

Well it's been a while and have given up on the RGP lenses at least for the short term. Have been fitted for kerasoft 3 Lenses which, have worked a charm for me. Can get them in and out with ease. And there is no, or at least a mimimum, of the sensation that there is a lens in my eye. So whats the v...

Hi all, I've just been diagnosed with KC, so still not entirely sure what to expect both in the short and long term. But am so glad I found this forum!!! I noted another thread about not using the 'net to "symptom serach" and how true is that!!! Decided that I should try contact lenses. We...
