if you have a stronger eye then get your weaker eye done first. That way your stronger eye will compensate whilst your eye recovers.

For information Mr Kaye at Royal Liverpool does both procedures on the NHS. I have been referred from the Preston area to Liverpool due to similar circumstances as you at my previous hospital. Nothing has been said about applying to my PCT for funding for Intacs (i went privately for CXL in London)....

no one really knows the long term effects of CXL as it hasnt been around for long - however light sensitivity & dry eye can be increased following CXL - though not substantially in my case. transplants are generally last resorts, and can follow CXL/Intacs procedures. however CXL/intacs can only ...

I acutally meant the yellow drops in general, wasnt fully with it last night. I will mention it next time i go. no it isnt just the scottish hospitals that this happens at Andrew, i personally havent had this happen to me but i do know of people this has happened to and over the past couple of years as well.

I have no useable vision in the left eye in glasses (havent done for about 5 years) though manage with glasses in the right eye (not sure what the prescription is but very strong).
