From my understanding these are some of the same issues that human cornea transplants reciepents face. However if it is successful to develop a synthentic cornea then that may increase the availability of grafts for those that need it, especially as the cornea is one of the body parts that people do...

I am sure that some of the experts will confirm the information that you have been given, however i was always led to believe the CL only correct vision and nothing else

i think it depends on which eye is having cross linking and which eye is the dominant eye - i didnt notice any difference as i dont use the eye that i had CXL done in. If you are used to seeing from the eye that had CXL done then i suspect you would notice the bluriness/cloudiness etc that follows C...

lenses are only for vision correction - and some optoms actual prefer to keep someone in glasses rather than CL if they can get good vision due to the higher risk of problems with CL over glasses - risk of infection, limited weartime, dryness among a few

The idea of C3R (CXL) is to stop/slow the progression of KC.
