I use clarimist when i am out and about as it is much easier to apply and gives a refreshing sensation. I use various other eye drops when I am in though. Clarimist is very expensive though, but i use it quite sparingly

Thanks for all your help guys, I spoke to the consultant who confirmed that it would be a fair while before i could wear rgps. I decided to postpone the surgery until next summer, and i will be going back to have a couple of consultations in the mean time.

Thanks for the reply, i have tried kerasoft lenses before and the vision was pretty rubbish. Im feeling worried about this op now because i have just got a decent prescription with RGP lenses after 2 years of trying, and i don't want to jepordise it.

Does anyone have any personal experience on how long it took them? I think i would be legal to drive, but wether or not i would be comfortable to is a different thing. I really just want to know what the average recovery time is to getting a reasonable amount of vision back and wearing rgp lenses. A...
