Has your vision improved in the meantime?
Regards,
Ronald

Any experiences on Ferrara rings or Intacts?
Hello all, Are there any people which have experiences with Ferrara rings or Intacts? Are they itching on normal daily activities or quite comfortable? And more important do they improve vision? I've had UV-Crosslinking done in one eye but still my vision is only 60-70% with glasses or soft contact ...

Re: In need of some advice
Sophie, Do you already have some more experiences from people or from yourself in the meantime? Are you wearing Intacts or Ferrara rings? And what is the experience so far? I had UV-Crosslinking done in my left eye but still the vision is quite bad with glasses or soft contact lens. Only scleral len...

Re: I HAD FERRARA RINGS WILL LASER HELP
Dear Jera, How are you today? Did the Ferrara rings improve your vision? By other words, were you able to see over 80% with Ferrara rings combined with glasses/soft contact lens? This because I had UV-Crosslinking done but still my vision is only around 60% with glasses/soft contact lens and I would...

Re: Finally dutch light in the tunnel after UV crosslinking...
They predicted and had good hope that I could see reasonably well with glasses and soft contcact lenses after the crosslinking. They came already close to 90% with glasses, and it was 60-70% with soft contact lenses before I had the crosslinking. So the vision improvement is in line with the expecta...

Finally dutch light in the tunnel after UV crosslinking...
Hello, You might remember me in previous posts on my experience with UV Crosslinking. I'm from The Netherlands and had UV crosslinking carried out in one eye on 23rd of August 2007 in Brussels. My recovery period was unusual long (almost 2 months), with epitheleum which did not heal very well. Full ...

Re: Just had uv crosslinking in Brussels but my epithelium....
Hi all, It is going better since this weekend, yesterday 5 hours of scleral lens, and today is going "pretty" good as well, so I will try 6 to 7 hours depending on the daily progress. The vision is back at 90% I think with the scleral (almost the 90+ which it was), so that's not bad. Hopef...

Andrew,
Your dutch is pretty good, you forgot only one word which is commenly not used in England in this context: "dat" which means "that" in English.
Ik hoop dat de dingen spoedig verbeteren.
I hope so too....

Ronald

Re: Just had uv crosslinking in Brussels but my epithelium....
Hi Andrew, Yep, 1 day after the epithelium had closed I should be able to wear the same scleral again (I spoke even 2 surgeons about this). Although the sight would not be optimal (70-80% by today). After 3 weeks, it should be the 90+ % again which I achieved with the scleral before the cross-linkin...

Re: Just had uv crosslinking in Brussels but my epithelium....
Hi Andrew, Sorry for the late reply. According to the eye doctor, the epithelium has recoverd, although it took 9 to 10 days :( After that (last week) I was trying to use my scleral lens again but I have great difficulties right now to get used again to the scleral lens. Before the operation the scl...
