Re: The truth shall set you free

Stu, Go to the website at the start of this thread, there are whole forums dedidcated to C3-R. I myself ahave decided to go forward with both Intacs and C3-R and am doing it privately so that I can have good vision when it counts (I'm 30 and have a few things I want to do in the next decade). My sim...

Re: Brill

You should be able to be reffered to a hospital for your lenses, just ask. This will be a very expensive process otherwise, my optom refused to treat me because with KC it could cost me thousands and still not produce the right results. If reffered you will pay around £50 per lens and any changes ne...

My Lifestyle and Lenses Don't Mix - Any Ideas?

Although I have only had my lenses for the past week I find it extremley difficult to even put aside the small amount of time I need to wear them for. Usually finishing work around 8pm and then needing the time to cook, eat, and do anything I normally do I find I forget to use my lenses until it's f...

Have Lenses and a Question

I've finally got my lenses and they're a pretty good fit and I managed 3 hours (recommended by optom) wear time last night. Thing is I took them out before I turned in and then woke up this morning with all the vision of a mole who's vision is so bad that all the other moles pick on him. Is this nor...

Yesterday could not have gone any better.

I was diagnosed with KC around 6 months ago but have lived with it for around a decade (bad opticians and lack of support) but finally I have some good news. I went to Moorfileds yesterday for my secomd fitting and to finally see a consultant. 2 Good things happened, firstly the consultant has said ...

Re: Smoking ban

Yeah for Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood - wish I havd there sort of money so that I can flaunt laws. Still it's cool that they just didn't care, and that greenwich council realise how much money they could potentially loose if they persued it too far. By the way I'm an ex-smoker and hate the smell o...

- Replace your old PC monitor with a flat-screen - less heat, less power and easier on the eyes! This works for TV's a well, a good LCD flat screen is so much easier to view and has better colour. Other than that I recomend hourly breaks if you work at a PC, this will help to keep that headache at ...

Used to love V, especially when the left there eyes in jars when removing their disguises.

Had that guy from Midnight Caller in it, can never remember his name though. That was another good series.
