ROSE K2 IC LENSES

Hi everybody,I haven't been on for quite some time now, hope you're all doing ok. For the past 18 months I have been regularly visiting my optom to trial various lenses with little success as I don't fit the various "standard" KC lenses (I realise that this is a misnomer, but you know what...

Hey Tim, I'm currently undergoing fitting for RGP's and at the moment have tried 6 different ones and one soft lens. As Gareth has said tell your optom. exactly how it feels and if it is really uncomfortable say so. As the patient due after me yesterday didn't show up i was able to have a long conve...

My favourite episode ever was, "Girl In The Fireplace" from last years series. Beautifully acted, written and the soundtrack was perfect too. One of those that stayed with me afterwards, but the whole series has been great since being revamped. Not sure about Catherine Tate though..........

My daughter is into Studio Ghibli films and three good ones which spring to mind are: Laputa,Castle in the Sky; The Cat Returns and Princess Mononoke. They are pg rated but very good for all ages (maybe not under 8's, bit violent).

Rosemary, I didn't intend to demean anybody else's condition, apologies if I have, I was just reiterating what I was told. Perhaps the optom. has something else in mind if he can't achieve 6/12 or better with RGP. Re: the difference in right/left visual acuity, in effect I have been living with mono...

Just an update following my appointment. Before I go on, thanks very much for the suggestions. I went in armed with my list of questions and I have to say, my optom's attitude was great and he took the time to explain things more clearly for me as I had gone to the trouble to prepare for the appoint...

Does anybody else suffer with seeing a "ghosting" or flickering image in the corner of your eye, as if something were moving just out of your field of vision? Is this a symptom of KC or just me? When this happens, usually in the evening, thats when I really start to rub my eye. Unless my h...
