Re: Techniques for removing RGP lenses?
I tried for months with the whole blinking method. after two trips to A and E at 2 am i gave up with blinking. The best thing for me is my plunger, simply squeeze it, put it on top of the lens, release pressure and take it off your eye. I never felt fully in control when using th blinking method, ma...

Thanks for all the replys. I still think my question is a bit silly but nevermind, i would always take them out even if some one told me they would be fine. It was just a silly question which i had to ask  . I'm a funny person myself, i love rollercoasters and the such and have a pet snake, so ...

Bit of an Odd Question
This may seem as a bit of a weird question to ask but it came to me today randomly. Can you wear RGP contacts on a rollercoaster? In know this sounds a bit of a weird question but have been thinking about lens wear since my first contact for my right eye is due to be ready next week. I had some real...

I'm not exactly comfortable with touching my eye myself put someone else is a complete different story lol. Thankfuly the optician was very understand...

Thanks alot for all the replies. Yes it was a bit of a shock at first, but once i realised that i would never go completely blind and that there will always be the option of a graft which I've read is the most successful of all transplants I was a bit better. I've had these symptoms for a while, the...

Newly Diagnosed
Hi, I was diagnosed with keratoconus a few weeks ago after starting to get really annoyed with the halos around light/double vision/glare which i had noticed had gotten a little worse over the last few months. I was pretty shocked when the optician told me this was what i had, i knew a bit about it ...
