Re: Fed Up, Upset and Frustrated!!!
Oh gosh! That sounds very serious. Where did he have it done? I think I do remember being told that after having the procedure done that my eye sight would fluctuate up and down for a while after because the eye is settling down and getting used to the change, perhaps that is what is happening? I di...

Re: Help!!!! Kerasoft Lenses
My eyes were very bad, especially my right eye. I had the CXL procedure on my eyes, but before this I was told that my right eye was on the point of collapse, so I had it done just in time! The lenses followed, and have been a success!

Hi Eileen, I know exactly how your son must have felt when he was diagnosed, I was diagnosed at 15! I noticed you mentiioned you were going for the CXL (collagen cross linking ) treatment? If you are, it really is worthwile! It stopped my eyes from deteriorating further, and I can now wear a normal ...

Re: Help!!!! Kerasoft Lenses
Hi Kezia,
I have been wearing Kerasoft lenses for some time now, and I would highly recommend them!
Before I was fitted with them I had to wear RGP lenses, which are the rigid gas permeable ones, they were highly uncomfortable!
Did you have your lenses fitted in the end?
Gabriela.

Re: Collagen cross linking questions
Hi, the operation itself is not as bad a you think it's going to be! :) they will give you a sedative to keep you calm and make you feel relaxed. After this they will give you local anaesthetic eye drops that will numb your eye. The first thing they will do is remove the cells (this is not painful i...

Re: Collagen cross linking questions
Hi :) I had collagen cross linking done last year and I didn't wear my RGPS again for 6-8 weeks. After you've had the procedure done it may be worth trying Kerasfot 3/ic lenses.I had an appintment on wednesday to have some fitted and they felt much better on my eye than the RGPS. It's worth looking ...

Re: KC guy living in Colombia in need of advice in English!!
HI Dave, I had Collagen Cross Linking done last spring/summer and I think it is a worthwhile procedure, it will stabalise your KC, if not imrpove it a little (depending on the person). After I had the procedure done it was painful but with the right painkillers, anti inflammatories, and eye drops yo...

Kerasoft 3 lenses
HI, I'd like to ask a couple of questions. Has anybody tried Kerasoft 3 lenses? As i'm lookig into this option, because in the last year I have undergone CXL in both eyes. Although the left eye is doing well with rgp's the right eye (which has a steeper cone) has developed scarring, which is moving ...
