Re: NHS beds going

Re: Spare lenses - are they are luxury or a necessity?
I had a contact lens appointment at Windsor on Friday and broached the question about getting a spare set of lenses. The immediate response was no problem, I needed one lens replacing due to wear so now have X2 RH & X1 LH on the way.

Re: Wearing Scleral for the 1st time
I know what you mean by feeling drunk. I think you can put it down to the extra weight of the lens on the eye, as you move the eye tends to lag behind a bit and that gives you the same effect as having a few too many.

Re: 10th Anniversary!
Happy anniversary Paul, my 10th anniversary is on April 10th. One rejection episode a year later over Easter and no problems since. Got a perfect prescription and fit for the contact lens in operated eye and can almost read right to the bottom of the chart.

Not a celeb but a sportsman. Steven Holcomb who was the driver for the USA 2 & 4 man bob in the winter olympics. They mentioned during the TV coverage one day that he had tried to commit suicide a few years ago because he was having trouble driving the bob due to double vision caused by his corn...
