Hi, I have worn RGP's for around the last 10 years and have only once had the lens fitting altered. I am starting to experience pain when I first put my lenses in in the morning. When I am driving to work my eyes continuously water and the pain from bright sunlight is intolerable. Hayfever is making...

My sensitivity to light has also increased. When I put my lenses in the morning my eyes run and I find it difficult to keep...

Hi

I recently had my eye drops taken off me at the airport but I think it is defiantely a case of some airlines being stricter than others. That was a couple of weeks ago and things may even be less stricter now.

hi

I have also had problems opening the AMO solutions and salines. I use the tweezers too or get someone else to open it for me!

Hi Gareth

It is a hospital and going private is definatley not an option. As far as I am aware there is just the one contact lens specialist but I will enquire.

Hi J It was my only set of lenses which he kept losing. At one point he was ready to send me off home not realising I only has one lens in and that he had the other. He has been very good over the years but has got gradually worse recently. Trouble is I can't remember how I got referred to the hospi...

How do I get a new ophthalmologist

Hi all On my last visit to the hospital my ophthalmologist lost my lenses 3 times on his desk, ordered me the wrong set as he was looking at my notes from 3 years ago and got the left and right lenses mixed up. I was in there for over an hour when all I was doing was collecting a spare lens. i came ...

Hi

My light sensitivity is also really bad and my eyes run terrible if i happen to get dazzled by something and then they sting for ages afterwards. Best thing is lots of different sunglasses of different protection strengths. i'm never far away from a pair!
