Crosslinking experiences

I am now set to have crosslinking on my good eye next month at York hospital, please share your experiences, I have a toddler so wont be able to do very much resting!

Thank you, I have rang up and told them I am going for local, so in about 5 weeks time. I'm terrified.

Thankyou once again for your reply. The second time round was that your "good" eye? I just cant decide what to do everyone is telling me I should be asleep during, but I just want it over and done with and I can move on with that part of it all, I think my bad is is going to end up needing...

Thank you for your reply that doesn't sound too bad. What was the recovery like afterwards? How was the pain and how was your vision? I am curious because I am not sure how long I'd have to wait after the procedure to get pregnant. Thank you

I have been informed if I have a local anesthetic I can have my procedure done in the next few weeks, if I have a general it is August time, we are wanting to try for a baby very soon which I have posted about already, so obviously it would make sense to go for a local, but it terrifies me, what are...

Crippscorner you are not the first person I've read about where crosslinking hasn't worked or has gone wrong, its really worrying, my I'm 26 to answer your question, my good eye has really good vision with glasses at the mo, my bad eye even with glasses is useless, completely blurry so I completely ...

Thanks for your reply. I have just gotten a new pair of glasses, I am still feeling dizzy and headaches since getting them and they dont feel quite right yet. Is this normal? I've been wearing them a week now, the right lens has such a high prescription.

I think we are going just 'try' and pray to God that my left eye stays good and doesn't go bad like my right one, otherwise I'm screwed, and hopefully get back on the crosslinking list after the birth of my second child. I hope they let me go back on it.
