I'm glad to hear you've come up with a good solution to your painful lenses Michael. I went down the same avenue as you and tried piggybacking. It hasn't worked out for me though and I have an appt Tues to see what my next option is. The piggybacking is driving me insane. The lenses never stay where...

I have acuvue moist dailies. My optometrist thought it was best to eliminate use of solutions since my eyes are so sensitive, plus I hate all the cleaning.. so we opted for dailies. They are the only ones I've tried though. It feels as tho the RGP fits fairly snug, although they do occasionally fall...

Glad to hear your eye is feeling much better now Sweet! You must be lucky with your lenses. I only wore RGPs for about 3 yrs or so and my eyes were pretty much constantly red from that moment. Then they became way too painful so we decided to try piggybacking in the hope the redness would disappear ...

That's ok - i'll forgive you ;) lol Yeah I have noticed a fogginess as well. I find there's no real comparison between just wearing the RGPs and piggybacking. The vision was so much clearer before, it's just a shame I can't tolerate them without the soft lenses! Even now I notice my comfort is nothi...

That's horrible Sweet. I find those soft lenses can be difficult to find at times, especially when they get dry. I often wonder if it's fallen out or still in there somewhere!!! I had a similar experience (Just not as intense) a wk or so ago... I took out my RGP at work because it was really sore (s...

I started piggy backing a couple of months ago now and get air bubbles. Sweet - did you ever experience this? I feel like my vision was much more consistent when I wore the RGPs on their own, but it's just too painful. It seems almost as if there's some kind of glare that I see coming off the soft l...

I can associate with that David. I've been told for quite a while now that my right eye is the worst one. The vision is definitely worse out of the left though..
Even though neither of my RGP lenses is comfortable the right is the one i've had the most pain with, which I guess makes sense.

Thanks Andrew.

I just googled it using Clarymist instead of what I originally put (Claramist) and got a much better response!

I still don't think it's available here yet.. although will keep a look out for it.
