Re: Intacs
Hi Douglas... I have had both CXL and Intacs (Done seperately). I have had intacs done in both eyes, my left was done Feb 2017 and my right May 2017. I was hoping it would improve my vision, which it has done somewhat but much less than i was hoping (though my vision is still improving very slowly s...

Re: Just had CXL 4 days ago, my vision is awful, will this pass?
I would suggest getting it checked out as well, better safe than sorry. Everyone will have different experiences but I have had CXL on both eyes, vision was blurry and red for up to the first 2 weeks (vision retuned after the first week/week and a half, redness subsided by the 2nd and I was wearing ...

Re: Sauflon saline preservative free 360ml
No mention of it being preservative free, just sterile. If you are looking for preservative free specifically the current one you are using is being sold for £6 at amazon. Cheaper than ebay but if your able to get it for £3 from your optom, I doubt your going to find it anywhere much cheaper. https:...

I use Boots sterile saline. It does the job, it's much cheaper and also comes in a travel size.

They sell it in boots, it is £8 however they often do discounts so good to watch out for them. http://www.boots.com/bausch-and-lomb-boston-simplus-120ml-10049820 I often switch from Boston simplus and Quattro where you can buy 3month supplies for around £20 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Quattro-Multifunc...

Intacs and Contact Lenses
I started wearing mini scleral about 4 months ago after I had my intac procedure and I'm honestly not a big fan of them. Weird I know, as it seems many people seem to get on with sclerals. But I much preferred my rgps and so clears, however my doctor has said since I have had intacs put in, somethin...

I have had intacs done in both eyes, my left was done 7 months ago and my right 3-4 months ago. I was hoping it would improve my vision, which it has done somewhat but much less than i was hoping (though my vision is still improving slowly so anything is possible). The only downside I have seen from...

Re: To all who have joined this forum recently
Thanks for the speedy reply. Glasses stopped working for me early on. Although I may give them another crack now I have the intacs and my vision is improving slowly.Hopefully something new will come out of the works to help improve unaided vision even more.
Thanks,
Ky

Re: To all who have joined this forum recently
Hi, New member here. I am 22 and I have had KC for 6 years. In the space of the first two years my vision deteriorated quite quickly (very stressful as I had 20/20 vision) and have worn RGP lenses too much success unless the KC progressed, causing my eye shape to change, and the contacts to become v...
