Re: Hybrid lens care
Ive been using the lenses for just over a week now. Generally solutions and drops that are suitable for soft lenses are fine. I've not actually needed to use any drops for comfort. I actually find the lenses more comfortable when my eyes are a little drier. I tear up badly when I first insert them w...

Re: Newly diagnosed
Just wanted to post an update on my hybrid lenses. I've now been wearing them for just over a week and feeling pretty positive about my progress. When/how do you clean your lenses? What about storage?
Also, do you use eye drops to keep the lenses lubricated during use and/or prevent discomfort when you're wearing them?

Re: Newly diagnosed
Hi Anne,
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm just back from Specsavers. I will be trying hybrid lenses (RGP with a soft skirt?) initially. They've taken various measurements today and they'll hopefully have something for me to try by next week.
I'll drop you an email to get the literature.

Newly diagnosed
Hi all, I've just been diagnosed with keratoconus after 10 years of worsening eyesight. I'm looking for some information on what I can expect in terms of support and solutions now. I started wearing glasses 10 years ago for computer work and reading. My sight gradually deteriorated until I became re...
