Pregnancy and KC

Hi all, Just wanted to pick the brains of any females with KC who have had a baby. I'm currently pregnant (it's early days) but I had random question. I am wondering whether I will have to have a C section...I was hoping not, but logic is telling me otherwise. I know that pressure can have a big imp...

Re: Meltdown at the Q.E. Ophthalmology Dept

Hi all, I am really sorry to hear about the mess at the QE! I think that writing to the Trust is vital....Pals is a good start but I would try and get the name of any trust heads and write directly to them. You could even tweet about it, as this sometimes has more of an impact (not being blaming, ju...

Re: Is there anyone with KC who childdren have not got it.

This is really reassuring to read! I am considering trying for children and was a bit concerned about passing it down. Also, space_cadet, I like your notion of rolling with it and just dealing with it!I feel like having KC teaches you to do that....always new challenges every year :) I'm sure little...

Re: Any tips for vitamins/diet/exercise??

Dear Jake,

Thank you for this reply. I've had a good look at the thread and its really helpful, especially as I experience a lot of dry eye since my cross linking. Have a good Monday :)

Any tips for vitamins/diet/exercise??

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have previously avoided reading posts as it makes me anxious. I have been living with Keratoconus for approximately 16 years. I was diagnosed aged 13 and I'm now 29. I have had cross linking and can currently just about manage in glasses which is helpful as my eyes are ...
