This has been suggested to me, following my graft, during which my eye had a blood clot, so a stroke, I have no functional vision but I am told this is because my natural lens has moved. The eye appears healthy so once my grafted cornea settles, the plan is to replace by lens with an artificial one.

I had my first graft st age 51, it failed, had my second in May, that's had complications and no useful sight at the moment but I'm told it's early days and consultant is hopeful functional sight with correction will return The decision to have a graft came when my corrected sight dropped below 6/12...

From experience better light works for me, re your eye sight, have you tried contact lens? These corrected my vision for years, after glasses failed to do so

I was diagnosed in the early nineties but was told there was no treatment other than grafts, which would only be considered once my sight started to fail I luckily found a contact lens specialist who had an interest in Kerataconus, and my sight was good with gas permable lens until 2 years ago I had...
