I really do not agree with those stages as the level of Myopia and Astigmatism isn't always reflective of the severity of Keratoconus.
In my experience, the stages of Keratoconus are different for every case.

When they said surgery, was that crosslinking or a transplant or Intacs? It's good that you've got an urgent referral - I think in earlier posts you were talking about all sorts of delays when you were first diagnosed. does anyone no of any tempory fixes that can make my symptoms easier to handle as got to wait 8 weeks to be refered again to see my consultant as was discharged because of a error they made and at the moment my current backup glasses prescription is way off so they don't do anything and the optician...

Well I was told my astigmatism is low, left eye -3.75 right eye -3 so what is confusing me is then why can't glasses correct my keratconus because it is so low and why do I have monocular double vision, glare, halos if it's so low ?

hello everyone :) I am 16 and have been newly diagnosed in both eye and also glaucoma and birth defect back of eye and sever eye allergies which I am on prescription drops 6 times a day :)
