Pred Forte Drops safe to use during pregnancy??

Does anyone know if its safe to use Pred Forte eyedrops during pregnancy? I read online that they should only be used if the benefit outweighs the risk. I'm currently on them once a day to both eyes. I know I should ask my consultant but I just thought I would see if anyone here had any other input....

Hayfever/Allergies and Keratconus (2016)

Is anyone else suffering a lot more this year with hayfever and allergies? My eyes are quite itchy a lot of the time and the skin around my eyes is sometimes 'stingy', and red in patches and a bit dry. I think it's all linked. I have been using Opatanol but it doesn't seem to be helping much this ye...

Re: Dry eyes making me life a misery!

Hi Llbradley... only seeing your reply now. I must figure out the notification thing too for when someone replies! That ointment I have been using is lacrilube. I was in with my Eye doctors here recently for a check up and they recommended a similar eye ointment called VitA pos. I think Scope Ophtha...

Thanks for the reply sky1.
Did you decide to reduce how many you take each day? Or is this the recommended dose?

Thanks

Re: Dry eyes making me life a misery!

Hi Lbradley Sorry to hear you are suffering so badly with dry eyes. I am having a few issues myself at the moment and I'm trying to get on top of things and trying to get my eyes to calm down. You have probably tried everything, but have you tried using lacri-lube at night time? I started using it a...

Has anyone ever used Omega Eye By Scope Ophthalmics?

Just wondering if anyone has used or is using Omega Eye by Scope Ophthalmics? If so, what do you think of it? Its an Omega 3 food supplement and the testimonials on it sound great. It's quite expensive so before I commit to buying I'd be interested to see what other keratoconus patients thought of i...

Re: Bad eye day and drops to help red eyes

Thanks for the replies and the link to the article. It's good to know I'm not the only one! I stocked up on a few products in the pharmacy yesterday including lacrilube and an eye wash. I'm going to try and manage my lens wearing time better.

Re: Bad eye day and drops to help red eyes

Does anyone have any suggestions to the above post?
Just looking for recommendations really on any drops you may have used in the past that you found soothing to eyes that have become sore or red after over wearing contact lenses.

Thank you

Bad eye day and drops to help red eyes

Hi Maybe someone has posted about this already....... Just wondering can anyone recommend an eyedrop that can help settle my eyes back down after a bad eye day?? You know the days where you might have worn your contact lenses for a bit too long and when you remove the lenses there is a burning feeli...

Re: Pregnant and Keratoconus (post graft surgery)

Thanks for the reply Anne. I had my left eye graft done in 2003 and then I had my right eye graft done in 2007. I was only in the Eye Hospital a couple of weeks ago and both grafts are looking good and both are clear. All of the stitches are out of both grafts so like you say, you'd imagine giving b...
