thanks for he replys yeah sunlight and bright lights can be a problem am also finding some bright car headlights bit sometimes troublesome. I'm 39 now with KC for couple months. What's the chance of the disease getting worse or is it unlikely and stay stable being im a older now.

the d1 is like applying for a license, exchange a paper for photo card, both forms found online I think. with KC medical questionnaire. They ask u double vision, have u got reduced or loss of field of vision, cataracts, glaucoma, something with degenaration. have u got these diseases and was a list ...

how to KC sufferers get on with pc screens. is there any do's or don'ts regarding them?. find the bright sites to be more hassle. I finding sunglasses help bit with out doors and indoors absolutely ok. but I don't need glasses or contacts can see ok unaided. I tryed a plus +1.00 everything was a blur

u have to notify dvla of any eye condition now. if u look for example on a d1 form it says any eye condition.
KC is a eye disease dvla will need to know bout. I notified them and got at 8 page medical questionnaire on all sorts eye conditions.

how does KC sufferers get on with driving does dvla let you carry on with your existing licence or put you on a medical drivers licence for set period and to renew after certain mount of years. if so how long for?

thanks to all for replys i have just recieved a letter today and thought i update. My pentacam scans and optometry assessment are consistent with keratoconus. Fortunately he is now 38 and his keratoconus is unlikley to progress. His unaided vision is very good at 6/6 and 6/9 plus 3 which means he ca...
