Wavefront Contacts Solved my Ghosting / Glare Issues
I just wanted to share with all here that my Wavefront contact lenses have resolved my ghosting, halos, and starbursts! I went to see Dr. Gemoules in Texas as he makes custom wavefront scleral lenses from scratch. I know there are not many contact lens fitters out there who really know how to use Wa...

Re: My Scleral Lens Fitting Experience with Dr. Gemoules
I can tell you that for me these lenses eliminated almost all the glare, halo, ghosting. I could have explored other, less expensive alternatives first, but I realized the minute I put standard RGP's in my eyes that the ghosting and haloing was here to stay. I figured I have limited time on this Ear...

My Scleral Lens Fitting Experience with Dr. Gemoules
I have moderate keratoconus in both eyes. My cones ride low below my corneas giving me manageable vision in glasses, but with awful ghosting, haloing, and starbursts that get worse at night. I first tried RGP lenses for 2 days and while vision improved, the ghosting and halos remained and the comfor...

Re: Anyone Wearing Sclerals?
Dr. G, thank you for this info. Do you know where the academic centers are that do this? I am on the East Coast and Texas is a bit a ways from me.

Anyone Wearing Sclerals?
Hi folks, I have been fitted with my first pair of RGP lenses. First, some reflection: just to think about the available technology, the fact that a doctor can scan a cornea, generate a computer image, and 3d print a custom fit lens, with microscopic adjustments, is really nothing short of mind bend...

How Do You Manage Halo / Ghosting?
Hi folks, I thought I would start this dedicated thread to see how folks in general are dealing with ghosting / halos. How do you deal with ghosting / halos? Have you found contacts that greatly reduce or completely eliminate it? What about after cross-linking or other procedures? Better or worse wi...

Re: Anyone Not Able to Wear Contact Lenses?
Hi Folks, turned out that the doc didn't "align" them properly, so now a different provider has fitted me and I am waiting for the trial lenses to come in. How are folks coming along with their RGP lenses? Has anyone found lenses that completely reduce ghosting and halos? Best wishes to all.

Anyone Not Able to Wear Contact Lenses?
Hi folks, greetings from USA. I'm 32 with moderate keratoconus. I am 20/300 uncorrected and 20/25 corrected in glasses. I wanted to get 20/20 so I went for a hard lens fitting, but I cannot see with the contacts because of a lazy eye. So contacts do not work for me, that means the best corrected vis...
