Hi val,
well my specialist has said once i am at 12 months post graft and then they start to take stitches out, we will be looking to fit a lens on the grafted eye. as i have a flat cornes which is good so he said last visit. next visit is on feb 22nd, can't wait.

Hi Craig, as jay has said all grafts are done under general not local, except in those sitautions stated. but also as they need to move you around on the table. I watched the operation of a full graft last year on tv before my own full graft earlier this year so to help me into as positive mind set ...

I use the RNIB Talking books service. with a special player supplied by them, it costs about £60.00 for 12 months. they have a good library. also a free service is http://www.calibre.org.uk which has both cd and tape format.
