CXL is by my thinking a bit of a "no brainer" for even mildly progressing KC. There are very little side effects and the stabilisation of the cornea post treatment is, in all cases I have seen in my practice, superb.
Now available in most NHS establishments thanks to NICE.

With this stuff going on in 10 years it may be possible to really help and solve the progression of KC. These guys need lots of money!

Craig, Dont worry! it is as Lynn says an iridectomy and they come in all shapes and sizes. It allos the fluid of the ye to drain more efficiently.

Sounds as if the fitting is not quite spot on...
I'd pop back to the prescriber asap and get him/her to have quick look at it. They'll know what to do!

1) Cool compresses
2) Alomide eye drops (on rx- ask the gp)
3) Lots of lubrication (systane or Theratears)

No lens wear??...only joking!
