It could be dry eye symptoms, especially if you have been working on the computer as you will blink less when staring at a screen. I use Hylo forte when wearing sclerals.

Scleral lenses

I have just taken my scleral lens out to clean it and it broke into 3 pieces as I was rubbing it. Arrrrrgh!

I have only had it about 18 months. How long have other people’s scleral lenses lasted?

Life has just got a whole lot more complicated.

I was advised by staff at Moorfields to use a saline solution with as low a preservative content as possible to avoid damage to the surface of the cornea in the long term - and Amidose is the lowest going.
