Dry Eye Advice

Hi all, I've not posted in a while - but was just wondering if anybody on here could lend some advice. I use Clinitas Soothe eye drops daily and on quite a regular basis throughout the day. However, my eyes still seem to "dry up" quickly and they get fairly irritable (this happens both wit...

Re: Bad Eye Day!!

I am fed up of being asked if I'm alright because my eyes are red and sore looking. I look like I've got a bloody hangover Me and you both mate - seriously annoying!! Also, this line from your most recent post sums up how I feel exactly: "I don't mind sacrificing a bit of vision to have comfor...

On the transplant waiting list...

...and couldn't be happier! :) It was actually a huge relief when they told me they were going to put me on the waiting list at the Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester. My left eye has deteriorated rapidly over the last few months.. I couldn't wear any sort of lens in the eye for more than an hour withou...

Hi Nick,

Was just wondering what lenses you are currently wearing if you cannot tolerate the RGP's now?

I am currently unable to tolerate my RGP lens in my left eye and am looking for alternative options.

Cheers

Re: Kerasoft Advice

I have just discovered an old thread made by GarethB regarding his Kerasoft lenses. He posted: Although the lenses are larger than my RGP's I get less irritation on the onjunctiva, when I move my eyes while wearing RGP's I feel it rubbing here and this results in very itchy eyes. In only a couple of...

Kerasoft Advice

I am currently having a lot of trouble with my RGP lens in my left eye (worst affected eye). My right is fine, and I could wear this lens for 24 hours+ without any sort of discomfort. I recently had to go and get my left RGP re-fitted as the 1 I had was causing me serious discomfort & couldn't b...

Re: Eye drops

I will try that :)

I also took your advice (not sure if you posted it in this topic or another) and put a drop on the lens just before I put it in - worked an absolute treat! :D

Re: Eye drops

My relief comes from Clinitas Soothe. I took your advice Andrew and tried the Clinitas Soothe. They had great online reviews & seemed very reasonably priced for the amount you actually get. I've only used them a few times since they arrived in the post, but they're already making a massive diff...
