Hi all

How do people deal with the mental challenge of having KC? i seem to constantly think about it and barely a moment passes where its not on my mind.

I generally get on fine with contacts but its difficult to not think about it all the time

thats great news - the eye that had cross linking - is that the eye that has dramtically improved?

Not yet - they mentioned it last time I was there but want to wait and see on the next scan if there’s progression - I feel there has been a little

It’s on my better eye so not sure if I want the risk

Hi All Had a scan in july on my better eye and the results were K1 value 51.7 however last week my new scan result was 52.7. The first scan i took my lens out directly before the scan whereas the latest time i didnt wear my contacts to the appointment. My question is could the not wearing of a lens ...

Both worst vision and haze is normal after crosslinking and can take a few months to return to normal. i havent had it done but eye hospital is recommending i have it on my better eye

How bad is Kerataconus compared to other conditions anyone can get ? I appreciate we are all different and cope different but let’s say an a person wearing RGP lens each day
