Re: Paranoia :(:(:(:(:(
Just to say it will get better. I was extremely anxious when I first had my graft done and as time goes on you will worry less. Just make sure that you talk to friends and colleagues, I have printed some of the leaflets from the website to show to people to give a simple explanation. I was in my 20s...

Keratoconus on Facebook
I see that Keratoconus Australia have a Facebook page. I am not sure whether it would benefit the group or not as it might double up or confuse the brilliant discuussion boards? However, a link might be useful and especially supportive to younger people with KC?

Hydrops
The pain will pass but can't say when!! i would advise you to see your consultant as soon as possible, especially if you are in pain and due back at university. Although you have been to eye casualty they are often very busy and have limited time and you can have a proper chat with your consultant w...

Waiting list
Dear Dave
I was on the waiting list at Oxford for 6 months before I got my graft done under a general anaesthetic. The hospital had a waiting lists office which you could call to check progress, who were very helpful. They might have something similar in Manchester.
Good Luck

Corneal graft
Dear Sophie After much thought I had a left corneal graft last August. Although I have had KC for 10ish years and am now 29, I was lucky to get through my degree and PGCE course with a reasonable level of vision. Obviously it is different for everyone but I would suggest that you get it done when yo...

More details please
Happy to help with research, but not sure where to find visual acuity scores or what they are! Have had KC about 10 years but can try and track down details if you can provide information on how to get them!
Thank you
