Re: KC and glasses

Thanks Ian I'll look into it when I start looking into having new glasses. Which according to moor fields may not be another 6 months after the surgery. Hope it can be sooner as it would be nice to think I can start to see the results.

Re: KC and glasses

Totally agree. Don't want to think how much I've spent on glasses since being diagnosed with KC. Would love to wear contact lenses but have tried all types and I just can not get comfortable with them.

Just wish there were options as people seem to make a lot of money out of this condition. :(

Back from hospital. Everything fine with the graft. Pain down to being dispensed wrong medication and headaches and dizzy spells due to still recovering from anaesthetic. Back next Monday to see surgeon

KC and glasses

Since having KC in both my eyes for over 20 years I've spent a fortune on glasses as my sight changes so regularly. I can not wear contact lenses as my eyes really don't like them when they are in as they swell up or are too uncomfortable to wear. My question to the group has anyone found a way of p...

Re: 2nd graft

Thanks Ann

Probly is the anaesthetic I agree. Other thought was I have a contact lens in my eye and my eyes always swell when I have theses in so it may not be making me feel that great also.
